The last few weeks has seen our best results to date since we opened two and a half years ago, with more than 60 fish banked. The fish are seriously fit and healthy and putting your tackle and your arms under serious strain! The lake is producing the blend of fish I want it too, a mix of scaly stunners and big chunks, not just the grey gut buckets that can often be associated with France. #carparticle #fishingphotography #carpcatchreport #mirrorcarp #commoncarp #Frenchcarpfis
It has been quite a long time since I have managed a proper night on Lac Du Coron, before my night a month ago the last two opportunities I had both ended shortly after they began as the fish embarked on yet another carpy orgy. Last month I was kindly invited for a night with a group of 3 anglers on the lake and Mac and I did the night in The Channel That night flew by with fish showing all around me and I did manage 3 takes. 1 I dropped and the other two were little wildy co
The great start to the season continues... It has been a funny old spring at Lac Du Coron like it has in many places across Europe. A few days or a week of 30 degree temperatures swiftly followed by a week of below average 14/15 degree temperatures and very chilly nights.
I would have expected these conditions to have really hampered the fishing, but with good anglers visiting us so far this year the bites have kept coming even in tricky conditions. These sharp spikes in te
Our 1st week of the season was the coldest we have experianced at the lake in the two and a half years we have been open, pipes froze, gas froze, even the lake froze! It was a real test of endurance for Steve and Andy and I was impressed they hung it out! The lads understandably struggled, but neither of them blanked which I must admit was a real concern when I looked at the forecast for the week. It started of cold, typical late winter conditions, heavy frost and the Beast f
The week starting12th of November saw our last full week of the season as returning anglers Nathan and Keiron enjoyed a cold weather session, and it really was a cold week, The lads had some stuning and very special fish which I have pictured below. Unfortuately Spud didn't manage a fish this time but I am sure he will put that right next season, enjoy the pics. #NicBrown #Carprigs #Carp #Frenchcarpfishing #mirrorcarp #commoncarp #Frenchlakes #Frenchcarpfishingholidays #Carpf
For the 1st time in months I managed to get on the bank this week with the cameras, fishing was of course the priority but I also wanted to get a few hints and tips vlogs done. Here are a few clips from that short trip, fingers crossed I can get a couple of the vlogs up and live by the end of the coming week. It's has been a busy time over the last few weeks with lots of cracking fish banked and just as many lost.
Take a look at the success our anglers have had. Few more to get, but these are a great start. #coronvibe #Frenchcarpfishingholidays #Frenchcarpfishing #bigcarp #Frenchcarp #catchreports #mirrorcarp #commoncarp #LacduCoron #Coronvibe
After 12 weeks of incredibly hot weather and even longer without rain a change in conditions has been needed in a big way. Unfortunately for the guys over the last days that change has come very very quickly. Still no rain but a fall in day time temperatures of nearly 20 degrees and 10 degrees at night has shocked the fish a bit and the fishing has really struggled. That being said Nathan had the mid 20 common and new PB on Monday, Stuart had that cracker and PB yesterday an
Spwaning over? Fish active! Bites coming and now were closed for 3 weeks! It has been tough over the last few weeks with the fish spawning no less than 8 times, the 1st spawning was in late April and they have been at it on and off until last week, the end of July! On top of that we had tempretures up to 49 degrees on the terrace last week, not great fishing conditions. Saying that this weeks group of Graeme, Wayne and Zak fished well and managed several fish throughout the w
