Winter at Coron #1
Last night was my 1st proper go of the winter. We have had some serious rain over the last few weeks and water temps have realy dropped fast

Fish Care @ Lac Du Coron
Good to see the lads looking after the fish so well. Good time for a little reminder on how fish must be treated and taken from the water to the mat at Lac Du Coron... It is really simple, when the fish is in the net get your mate or use the provided Net Stations to secure the net and let the fish take a breather whilst you get EVERYTHING sorted. We supply mats, water cans, retainers and Steri 7 fish care, make sure they are all in position and close to the mat BEFORE the fis

I'm going fishing, and conditions are changeable!
Well as many of you know we are now half way through the 1st of our 2 week mid summer close down. We have celebrated our wedding anniversary with close friends and family and worked hard at the lake cutting trees, tweaking the aeration system, painting the terrace and feeding the fish. But today Sharon and I are on our own for the first time in 6 weeks. We miss all our friends and family, but it does mean 1 thing, it's fishing time! I managed to do a couple of hours yesterday

Loads of catch shots from the last few weeks at Lac Du Coron
It's has been a busy time over the last few weeks with lots of cracking fish banked and just as many lost.
Take a look at the success our anglers have had. Few more to get, but these are a great start. #coronvibe #Frenchcarpfishingholidays #Frenchcarpfishing #bigcarp #Frenchcarp #catchreports #mirrorcarp #commoncarp #LacduCoron #Coronvibe

2 week close down
That's us done for a few weeks as we close down for a fortnight, see friends and celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Where does the time go!? It doesn't mean that the carp will go hungry though, far from it as I will be giving them an awful lot of bait over the next few weeks. Roughly 100kg a week of both Coron Specials, Maize, Lupins, Coron Pellet Mix and Activ8. Dad is hard at work tarting up the terrace too. Even I'm going to fish next week and take the opportunity to get lo

New Aeration Installed
I'll have to start calling these weeks 'no rest weeks.' This morning was another busy one. Dad and I cleared the last of the trees from the newly created gap and moved some big stumps into positions so its now a nice place to sit and will definitely be a wicked little stalking spot, especially when the water levels are back up. Next it was time to install the new aeration system. After connecting each end of the hose to the pump and the other ends to the diffusers, I swam eac

Catch shots from 1st - 8th July
I haven't got all the photos from the lads but these are a good start. Fishing all over France has been difficult of late but theads did well to get amongst them. Crushed Mainline Activ8 mixed with Coron Specials, Coron Pellet mix and Coron particle mix. #LacduCoron #bigcarp #CarpfishinginFrance #Carpfishingholidays #mainlineBaits #Coronspecials #Coronpellet #Coronparticle

Pb's all round!
Last week saw Matt and Brinn tackle Lac Du Coron. The lads hired the lake exclusively so ha the whole lake to themselves to wander and explore. With conditions hot the week before with a lovely south westerly Adam, Stevie and Tommy really did well with 26 or so fish including a PB for Stevie; however as Matt and Brinn arrived the conditions changed, temperatures dropped slightly and more importantly the wind turned to the North East, not ideal! That added up to mean things st

Spring is here and so are the fish!
Last week Tommy, Adam and Stevie visited Lac Du Coron for the 1st time and they were not disappointed landing 24 fish and leaving recharged, chilled and with a great tan! The guys fished Rolo's, and The Double with 2 of tha lads using Duster Baits gear, house particle mix and pellet. Stevie in the Left Hand Double was on a mixture of Mainlines Essential Cell and Cell again with our particle and pellet. Here are a few of the lads reviews... Tommy Goodwin " Coron what a place 3

Colonel Cluster Banked in Tough Conditions
After 12 weeks of incredibly hot weather and even longer without rain a change in conditions has been needed in a big way. Unfortunately for the guys over the last days that change has come very very quickly. Still no rain but a fall in day time temperatures of nearly 20 degrees and 10 degrees at night has shocked the fish a bit and the fishing has really struggled. That being said Nathan had the mid 20 common and new PB on Monday, Stuart had that cracker and PB yesterday an
