Fishing over the last few weeks has been hard at Lac du Coron and all over the country to be honest. After an incredibly wet start to the year and a far below average tempreture things have literally turned on their head and as I sit here typing at 7am it is already 24 degrees and set to be 36+ today.
The fish have obviously found this hard to handle, especially with spawning which has basically been going on for a few days a week for 3 months, I am really looking forward to some settled weather so we can eventually get into a routine.
As you can see from the video the fish are not hard to find, but they are hard to catch!
Some people have got well amongst them though whilst others have struggled. Mate had the rods out a couple of hours last week and was rewarded almost instantly!
