Winter Fishing at Lac Du Coron and Lac Solace
We have been asked a fair bit recently if people can book for this coming winter and if we are running a winter ticket this year. We will not be running a winter ticket for this winter (2022/23) as we have lots of improvements we would like to do this winter. Our winter ticket will start again next year, and will run from October 28th 2023 until February 24th 2023. This ticket will cover unlimited fishing on Lac Du Coron and Lac Solace. Price is a one off payment of £350 and

What we are all about.
Since we opened Lac Du Coron a few years ago we have been striving to create one of the best looking stocks in France. I am always very open, if you are looking for the biggest fish in France, gravelled swims or electric in each swim then we are not the ones for you.
We work hard to keep Coron as natural as possible and for our stock to be special. We are not just striving for the fattest fish we can create, but the best, and for me that means longer, classic looking carp wi

This one drenched me!
Another one caught last Friday on a warm afternoon in Rolos. A stunning carp that I am lucky enough to have had before, but this one was clearly 40+ and was putting weight on very well, and with her gorgeous colors I wanted to lift her up for the camera.#coronvibe #kingfkg #rolos #carpfishinginfrance

"The Old Chap" One I was after!
There are a lot of carp in Lac Du Coron that I would love to catch, The Big Zip, The Common, Hungarian Common and many more, but there are 3 or 4 that were at the top of my list, The Old Chap was one of them. I did this short video to give you a look at him. #coronvibe #rolos #theoldchap

April gets off to a great start!
With a few days left of the week I wanted to do a little update on Matt, Dan and Adam's week so far. Thursday is my day off so it is a good opportunity to get a little update done. Unfortunately we had a very sad loss in the family late last week so I will be back in the UK for a short while so this may be the last blog for a week or two. Ok, so this is the lads first visit to Lac Du Coron and like it does most newcomers it took them a day or so to get to understand the lake

March 10th - 24th catch report
I am a little behind on the catch reports from the last few weeks, so if you haven't been keeping up with all the goings on at Lac Du Coron then here are some galleries, just click left or right to scroll through. A little overview. Conditions here have been harsh over the last month, huge swings in tempretures from -4 to +15. Easterly, Northerly and westerly winds, snow, rain and frosts.... All that being said it has fished very well with some very special fish hitting the n

Off and running after a cold start!
Our 1st week of the season was the coldest we have experianced at the lake in the two and a half years we have been open, pipes froze, gas froze, even the lake froze! It was a real test of endurance for Steve and Andy and I was impressed they hung it out! The lads understandably struggled, but neither of them blanked which I must admit was a real concern when I looked at the forecast for the week. It started of cold, typical late winter conditions, heavy frost and the Beast f
