About Lac du Coron

Lac Du Coron is an intimate 4.5 acre lake based in the southern Loire valley. 2.5hrs from Caen & St Malo and 5.5hrs from Calais.

The lake is a very mature, wild, almost overgrown with overhangs, snags, silt and slate in every swim. There are 6 swims and a stalking area for a maximum of 5 anglers. We have a basic but comfortable little lodge with kitchen, shower, changing room and sitting area. Toilets, covered terrace, tables and chairs in swims & BBQ's.

We can also supply food, tackle hire and bait.

There are over 100 fish, with our emphasis being on the quality and look of the fish, not just the biggest fish we can get. That being said there are a lot of fish over 30lbs, more than 15 40's and 2 maybe 3 low 50's, we have also added 30 fast growing fish this winter from upper double to low 30's.

The lake is for anglers looking for a challange, where accuracy, stealth and thinking outside of the box will put more fish on the bank.
