2 week close down
That's us done for a few weeks as we close down for a fortnight, see friends and celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Where does the time go!? It doesn't mean that the carp will go hungry though, far from it as I will be giving them an awful lot of bait over the next few weeks. Roughly 100kg a week of both Coron Specials, Maize, Lupins, Coron Pellet Mix and Activ8. Dad is hard at work tarting up the terrace too. Even I'm going to fish next week and take the opportunity to get lo

*Water Improvement*
Many of you know that we have regular rest weeks throughout the season. Next week is one such week.
In addition to a really good feed up I am also pleased to announce we will be installing a new aeration system into Lac du Coron. The new underwater based system has a number of advantages over our fountain, most importantly from the anglers point of view it will be loads quiter! I will so be able to distribute the system over a wider area getting a better spread.

For those anglers visiting us in the coming weeks I have a couple of Ltd quantity baits available on a 1st come 1st served basis. Im sure it will be of interest to a few of you instead of buying and bringing bait from the UK.
I have a 16 & 20mm, very savoury shellfish bait packed full of attraction, liver and yeast. It is also a lovely pale colour that is very different from our usual feed baits.
Available in 5kg for 40€ or 20kgs for 125€ I also have 2 x 20kg of 20mm Hali

Catch shots from 1st - 8th July
I haven't got all the photos from the lads but these are a good start. Fishing all over France has been difficult of late but theads did well to get amongst them. Crushed Mainline Activ8 mixed with Coron Specials, Coron Pellet mix and Coron particle mix. #LacduCoron #bigcarp #CarpfishinginFrance #Carpfishingholidays #mainlineBaits #Coronspecials #Coronpellet #Coronparticle

Early morning wake up call
A very gutty early morning wake up call for Russell this morning in Lotties. A bit paler and fatter than the usual LDC strain but more than welcome. #coronvibe #CarpfishinginFrance #bigcarp #activ8 #Coronspecials #Carpfishingholidays

Move pays off for Russell
With only 2 anglers having the lake to themselves this week it was always going to be tricky. With the fish so active they were bound to move to The Channel and Lotties to get away from the pressure. After seeing loads of fizzing and lots of rolling all over Lotties Russell decided to move and was very quickly rewarded with this cracking mid 30. Activ8, Coron Specials, Coron particle mix and Coron pellet working a treat. Russell also lost a good fish this morning. Andy in The

Good handful of washed out Activ8 and Coron Specials.
I often tell people to wash out their Baits but very few people do it and to me it's a great edge. The lad in the Right Hand Double is doing just that and with a few handfuls of chops, a few of pellet and a bits of particle mix he is starting to get amongst the fish. #coronvibe #Activ8 #mainlinebaits #Frenchcarpfishings #Carpfishingholidays #Coronspecials

Colonel Cluster Banked in Tough Conditions
After 12 weeks of incredibly hot weather and even longer without rain a change in conditions has been needed in a big way. Unfortunately for the guys over the last days that change has come very very quickly. Still no rain but a fall in day time temperatures of nearly 20 degrees and 10 degrees at night has shocked the fish a bit and the fishing has really struggled. That being said Nathan had the mid 20 common and new PB on Monday, Stuart had that cracker and PB yesterday an

Spwaning over? Fish active! Bites coming!
Spwaning over? Fish active! Bites coming and now were closed for 3 weeks! It has been tough over the last few weeks with the fish spawning no less than 8 times, the 1st spawning was in late April and they have been at it on and off until last week, the end of July! On top of that we had tempretures up to 49 degrees on the terrace last week, not great fishing conditions. Saying that this weeks group of Graeme, Wayne and Zak fished well and managed several fish throughout the w
